Godzilla Project

The Classic Short

1. Bambi in his native habitat without a care in the world.

2. Godzilla Approaches

3. Godzilla has won the battle

Goal: Create a movie that mimics the original Bambi versus Godzilla

* Godzilla must meet something and destroy it this must be done following the format of the original cartoon

*Originally made in 1969 by Marvin Newland it’s one of the best cartoons ever made number 38 on the list

The original cartoon is only one minute and 30 seconds in length sadly Bambi dies at 50 seconds into the cartooon

The reality of the Godzilla universe is that Godzilla will always win your twist on the project is to show the creature of your choice living in its natural habitat enjoying life without a care in the world at 50 seconds into the animation the foot comes down and what happens next is up to you if the character wants to go splat or squish or go yikes that’s OK

1. Decide on the character you want to put up against Godzilla think male female old young animal human or mythical.

2. The character you create must be of your own design.

3. Create a Godzilla character that is based on the original.

4. Draw a background environment for the action to take place.

5. Final artwork will be assembled in adobe animate.
